
Brittany is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC and holds a Master's of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology.
Brittany has extensive experience working with women and children in and/or fleeing intimate partner violence, Indigenous First Peoples, trauma, addictions, and concurrent sectors. Brittany is trained in the modalities of
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1
- Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST)
Through a person-centered and trauma informed lens, Brittany provides a safe and non-judgmental environment to explore and express emotional pain.
Brittany is a descendant from one of the six Indigenous Nations in Ontario. Brittany aims to integrate traditional ways of healing into her practice and believes that everyone coming into therapy is whole, unique, has wisdom and experience, has creativity and strength, and is the authority of their life.
Brittany is available for both virtual appointments as well as in-person appointments in Maple Ridge.
